Honor Nevada Veterans by Supporting Honor Flight Nevada

By Hughes Private CapitalReno, Nevada

Hughes Private Capital has partnered with Honor Flight Nevada to raise money for this very important cause. We care about our veterans and what they have done for our country, and strongly believe that they deserve to be meaningfully honored. Many of these veterans would never have a chance to visit the monuments that memorialize their time in war. After all they have sacrificed, this is the least we can do.

Hughes Private Capital is a family-owned investment firm; the Hughes family has served as Guardians for Honor Flight Nevada and has traveled twice to Washington D.C. with the organization. We have seen the program's impact on veterans firsthand.

"The reason I'm able to do all this can be traced back to a single priceless foundation: my freedom. I owe my beautiful life to all the men and women who sacrificed themselves for me and my freedom. " — Kayla Hughes

Honor Flight Nevada is an impressive and well-run organization that genuinely cares about veterans and works hard to create an experience that changes their lives. Honor Flight Nevada has already served more than 1,000 local veterans and has hundreds of applicants still waiting to be called. Your donation will have a huge impact on what the organization is able to accomplish.

$1,000 sponsors a veteran's whole trip, but any amount moves us closer to our goal.

Breakdown of Costs

  • Honor Flight Nevada $100,000.00
  • Overhead $0.00

If Funding Goal is Exceeded:

All donated funds go toward covering the costs of transporting veterans to the memorials in Washington, D.C. and hosting their stay in the nation's capital. Any additional funds raised would be put toward expanding this effort to include more veterans from locations where these programs are not readily available. American senior veterans deserve to be honored for their sacrifice.

If Funding Goal is Not Met:

Even partial funding helps Honor Flight Nevada fulfill its mission to serve veterans by taking them to visit the memorials for the wars in which they served. The funding also goes toward local educational efforts and events to honor veterans from Nevada and neighboring states.
